Our baby is not cooperating!

Well, our unborn baby is sideways again. Agh! I will go Monday morning to be checked again. At that point, I don't know what the doctor will do. He could send me to the hospital to be turned or started(if he had turned by then). I will let you know. Just pray he will turn. I really don't want a c-section.

What the doctor said!

Well, today I had another checkup and they said everything looks good. I saw a midwife today because my doctor is in Peru until the 8th. Anyway, she said to try red raspberry leaf tea to help soften my cervix. Anyone ever tried that before? I don't think my body will go into labor by itself as it hasn't in the past. But who knows? Maybe it will be different this time since it is a boy!! :)
Oh, she also said that today the ultrasound was saying that he would weigh today 7 lb. 9 oz. Chris and the girls and I have all put in guesses for weight and day to see who is the closest and gets a prize. They say I can't guess on day since I will probably be scheduling an induction.
Any guesses?

New line I am going to use!

When I was waking Natalie up this morning to get ready for church she said, "No, I'm not done." I just had to laugh. I think I am going to use that line next time Chris is trying to wake me up. :)

By the way, only 2 1/2 weeks to go. I am so ready physically. We are still finishing up getting his room ready and I need to hurry and sew up some burp clothes for him and finish the edge on his quilt but other than that I think we are ready. We are so excited! My mom and sisters are giving me a shower on June 7 and we are only eating chocolate. Yea!!

Anyway, I will try to keep you all informed. :)

Baby needs to turn!

Hello everyone,
Just to let you know that the baby is part breech right now. He is sideways. The doctor doesn't seem to be worried since there is still 4 weeks to go but I sure hope he will get his head down so it will be a normal delivery. Pray that he will get into position.

I am in that last month where you just uncomfortable and tired. Only a few weeks left. Wish me luck. We are so excited!

Chris loves the guitar!

Chris played the guitar a little in high school (I think it was then). He really enjoyed it but hadn't played since. For Christmas I got him a guitar but apparently the wrong size. We gave that one to the girls (it only cost $10 on ebay plus $25 shipping) (it was new). So, we went after Christmas and got him the right size. He has been taking lessons and is doing really well. Next time you have a campfire, invite him and his guitar along. He plays a great "Let it Be". Anyway, he had his first recital in April and even sang along. In these pictures, the lady next to him is his teacher.

Fun with big bubbles!

We found these big bubble blowers at Wal-mart that were really cool. The girls had a lot of fun waving their bubble wands around outside. This was about a week ago.

Heidi turns 9!

Heidi had her birthday on April 18 and turned 9 years old. I can't believe it. Before we know it she is going to be a teenager. We just had a little family party this year since it was an odd year so she chose going bowling. She did awesome. I probably looked funny bowling with my belly. Chris won but hey, he didn't have a big belly to keep in balance. :) We had Papa John's Pizza afterwards at home and then strawberry birthday cake. She received a Lia Sophia necklace and earrings set (she has to wait until she's 12 to get her ears pierced), a littlest petshop thing, an electronic Holly Hobbie toothbrush, a dolphin watch and an outfit. She is so smart and fun.
